March 2024
Where It All Began
Sanema Dekho was founded. The name was chosen, the logo was designed, and an email ID was set up. A small beginning for what we hoped would be a big story.
March 2024 to May 2025
Laying the Foundation
The studio took on its first commercial work, providing 3D modeling and rigging for Travel Pro Inc's advertisement campaigns. Simultaneously, the team contributed to two feature film productions, Tom and Jerry: Forbidden Compass and Hannah and the Forgotten Christmas, with Anantha Creative Studios. The studio was learning, building, and getting ready.
May 2025 to October 2025
Enter the Mascot
The studio's mascot was born. Two videos followed, one as a character introduction and one as an expression test, putting the mascot in front of an audience for the first time. The studio also released its official Studio Intro video, a personal statement about why Sanema Dekho exists and what it is here to do. The studio's YouTube channel and Instagram page launched alongside these releases.
May 2025
The Pivot
Everything changed. Sanema Dekho made the deliberate decision to shift its focus entirely to original IP content, building its own worlds and telling its own stories. This is where the studio truly became itself.
October 2025
The team grew to three
Our first artist joined as a 3D Animator and 3D Artist, and Sanema Dekho had its first dedicated animation muscle in the room.
October 2025
Filhà l
The studio completed its first original commercial project, the music video Filhà l. Sanema Dekho handled the complete visual development of the film, from the first sketch to the final frame.
November 2025
Pet Puja Begins
Production started on Pet Puja, the studio's first original animated short film. A silent comedy set in Mumbai, about a man and his Vada Pav, and the most important decision of his life.
January 2026
The team grew to four
A Pre-Production Artist joined the studio as an intern, bringing new energy and perspective to the pipeline.
February 2026
The team grew to five
A 3D Generalist joined as the studio's latest full time artist, completing the current core team.
February 2026
Filhà l at IWFF-26
Filhà l was selected in the 10th Indian World Film Festival-2026 in Hyderabad, India, in the animation category. The studio's first festival selection.
February 2026
Animation Xpress
Animation Xpress published a feature on the screening of Filhà l, marking the studio's first press mention in a major industry publication.
March 2026
ETV Bharat
ETV Bharat published an interview about Filhà l and its festival journey, marking the studio's first television press feature.
March 2026
Best Animation, IWFF-26
Filhà l won the Best Animation (Jury) Award at the 10th Indian World Film Festival-2026 in Hyderabad, India. The studio's first award.
March 2026
Behind the Sanema Launches
The studio launched the Behind the Sanema YouTube channel and Instagram page, a dedicated space for behind the scenes content and the beginning of the Sanema-philes community.

Filhà l was selected at The Buddha International Film Festival in Pune, India.
April 2026
Best Music Video, BIFF-26
Filhà l won the Best Music Video Award at The Buddha International Film Festival in Pune, India. Two awards, three selections, and the studio is just getting started.
